Gas Prices Creeping Up

In Northern Virginia the "fair" price has gone up from $3.68 to $3.73.  As mentioned, two weeks ago, gas was available for 3.14 in Roanoke, and in the 3.30's up I-81.  So it will be interesting to see if this bump also occurred down there.  If not, that would certainly be indicative of something.  And even if prices down there have risen by 5 cents, it seems obnoxious for the DC area to be maintaining a 50-plus cent spread.  I.e. They can get away with letting prices fall more slowly than elsewhere, but should they really be maintaining that spread?
